Redtail x Harris Hybrids
Lacy is a 2003 passage female Redtail that we hope to use in our attempts at making a HH/RT hybrid. She is an excellent gamehawk with a great disposition. She spent the majority of her falconry career specializing in squirrels, but she's also taken a variety of other quarry including bunnies and jacks. She's in permanent retirement due to an injury. We hope she's as successfull in her new role as a breeder, as she was during her hunting career.
The picture below shows Lacy learning to feed 2 Harris Hawk chicks that she was allowed to hatch, after laying and incubating her own infertile eggs. With any luck, one of these chicks will be her future mate.
